A PLATFORM FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is at the heart of the Janda Baik Festival. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint and making this event eco-friendly. Additionally, we’re going the extra mile by using biodegradable materials for our collaterals, ensuring that our environmental impact is as minimal as possible. We envision that this event can be a great annual signature event in Janda Baik and bring much benefit to the local community, tourism and culture in Pahang.

  1. 1,000 trees to be replanted by festival goers and visitors
  2. 10,000 kgs collected via Trash to Token campaign
  3. 20 million steps tracked towards The Steps to Sustainability campaign
  4. Minimal usage of single plastic use at festival grounds
  5. To power the festival via clean energy, we are exploring using recycled bio fuel and solar.

Immerse yourself in workshops and talks by renowned changemakers. JBF24 is looking to bring together and present the most exciting and interesting social and environmental initiatives, brands, and personalities. See new things, learn and explore new and fresh ideas. A discussion forum will also be held with the local community on Sustainable Tourism where we culminate with a Janda Baik Sustainable Tourism Resolution, that is to be followed up annually with viable actionable plans for the local community.
